The SeaStar Solutions SSC6221 is a 21-foot quick-connect rotary steering cable designed for reliable marine steering performance. This cable features a low-friction core and durable construction that delivers smooth, precise steering control for outboards, inboards, and sterndrives.

Key Features:

  • Quick-connect design for simplified installation without special tools
  • Stainless steel output ends provide superior corrosion resistance
  • High-density polyethylene (HDPE) outer jacket resists abrasion and water penetration
  • Compatible with Safe-T QC, Safe-T II, and 4.2 rotary helms
  • Fits most Teleflex rotary steering applications from 1968 to present
  • Direct replacement for SSC62 cables used in Safe-T QC and NFB systems
  • Also replaces SSC72 cables used in Safe-T TS and Big-T systems
  • Meets ABYC safety standards and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements

This cable fits standard quick-connect rotary helms including SH5150P, SH4910P, SH4920P, SH5094-1P, and others. For older threaded-spigot helms, use SSC61 series cable assemblies or adapter SA27620P. Proudly manufactured in the USA at SeaStar's Pennsylvania facility.
