Uflex Marine Control Cable Foot Replacement Cables

Uflex marine control cable replacement cables restore smooth, precise shift and throttle operation on boats. They are engine control cables, also called shift and throttle cables or remote control cables. They connect a helm or remote control box to the engine's throttle or clutch linkage. Uflex offers them in several cable styles, so you can match the cable to your control and engine connection.

Key Features:

• Replacement design: Built to replace worn, stiff or corroded control cables, and to serve in new installations.
• Marine-grade hardware: Stainless steel end fittings and clamp hardware resist corrosion in saltwater and freshwater.
• Low-friction construction: A flexible core inside a conduit with a polymer liner keeps friction and lost motion low. This gives a responsive feel at the control.
• Durable outer jacket: A tough polymer jacket resists abrasion, moisture and the marine environment.
• Multiple styles: Many Uflex cable styles are direct replacements for common Teleflex and Morse cable types, and they cover a range of outboard, inboard and sterndrive applications.
• Low maintenance: Sealed construction helps keep moisture and contaminants out.

For a replacement, measure the old cable from tip to tip and round up to the next whole foot. For a new installation, Uflex recommends keeping cable bends to a minimum radius of about 8 inches. Choose the cable style, connection type and length that match your control and engine.
