Wichard HR Quick Release Snap Shackle with Swivel Eye Shackles

The Wichard HR Quick Release Snap Shackle with Swivel Eye is a forged stainless steel snap shackle for quickly attaching and releasing sheets and halyards. It is also called a quick release snap hook or swivel snap shackle. It opens when you pull the lanyard, so you can release it fast, even under load. This makes it a good choice for spinnaker and genoa sheets and halyards.

Key Features:

• HR forged stainless steel: Made from high-resistance 17-4 PH stainless steel for high strength and corrosion resistance in marine use.
• Quick release lanyard: Pulling the lanyard opens the shackle for fast, controlled release.
• Swivel eye: The snap shackle rotates freely, which helps keep the line from twisting.
• High working and breaking loads: Wichard rates each size for strong working and breaking loads.
• Progressive failure: Wichard says its snap shackles show signs of deformation well before they reach the breaking point.
• Made in France: Designed and manufactured by Wichard.

This shackle suits sailors who need hardware that handles repeated use and fast, reliable release. It is available in several sizes, so you can match the working load to your application.
