Beckson Marine Screw-Out Deck Plate with Standard Trim Ring

Beckson Marine screw-out deck plates give you tool-free access to boat compartments, tanks, and hardware. They are also called screw-out access plates or inspection ports. Each plate has a standard trim ring and is molded from marine-grade plastic for use in demanding marine conditions.

Key Features:

• Tool-free access: The cover screws in and out by hand.
• Non-jamming thread: A single-start, self-cleaning buttress thread resists cross-threading and is extra strong.
• Watertight seal: A self-aligning center and a purpose-designed gasket seal the plate.
• Back-up sealing wall: The plate stays water resistant even if the gasket is removed.
• Standard trim ring: The ring gives a finished look around the cutout.
• Tested to standards: Beckson states that its deck plates are independently lab tested to exceed ABYC H-3 watertightness, ABYC H-4, NEMA 250 6P submergence, ISO 12216, and ISO 11812.

Use these plates for access, inspection, and clean-out of tanks and compartments. They also work as general access to shut-off valves and other hardware. They suit compartments where air pressure changes from temperature swings. Beckson designed the cover so it will not open unexpectedly, seals tightly, and does not jam closed.
