Solas Aluminum Propeller for Yamaha Outboards Propellers

Solas aluminum propellers for Yamaha outboards are replacement boat props. They suit recreational boaters who want dependable acceleration, good top-end speed and strong corrosion resistance. Solas is one of the best-known names in outboard and stern drive propellers. This line gives you an alternative to an OEM Yamaha outboard prop.

Key Features:

• Squeeze-cast aluminum construction: Solas uses a squeeze casting process that makes the blades nearly non-porous. The manufacturer says this makes them stronger and tougher than traditional die-cast propellers.
• Multi-layer protective finish: A four-layer paint system helps resist corrosion in salt water.
• Salt-spray tested: Solas aluminum props go through more than 500 hours of salt-water spray testing. The manufacturer says this simulates over six months of normal salt-water use.
• Rubber hub design: The rubber hub cushions gear shifts and impacts. This helps protect the prop shaft and lower unit.
• Through-hub exhaust: Exhaust passes through the hub for efficient operation.
• Performance-oriented blade design: The blades are designed for strong acceleration and good midrange and top-end performance.

Solas aluminum propellers are a value-minded replacement for a worn or damaged Yamaha outboard prop. They keep the hardware and performance standard of the original.
