Greenfield Products Fluke-Type Anchor with PVC Coating Slip Ring & Traditional Anchors

The Greenfield Products Fluke-Type Anchor with PVC Coating is a Danforth-style fluke boat anchor. It is built for strong holding power and easy handling. Greenfield is known for pioneering coated marine anchors. These anchors have a solid steel body with a protective plastisol coating. The coating helps keep scratches and abrasions off your boat's finish.

Key Features:

• Fluke-style design: The Danforth-type design penetrates the bottom and holds well in most conditions.
• Protective PVC coating: An undercoat improves adhesion. A heavy "no mar" plastisol layer goes over it to protect boat finishes in normal use.
• Solid steel construction: The anchor has the tensile strength to handle light- to medium-duty anchoring.
• Quieter and cleaner handling: The coating helps reduce rattling and vibration while underway.
• Easy to store: The anchor is lightweight and compact, so it is easy to stow.

Setup Tips: Use anchor chain with steel fluke anchors. The chain adds weight and keeps the anchor at the proper angle for setting. Allow a scope of at least 5:1 (rope length to water depth). A 7:1 scope is recommended for the best hold.

Slip-ring versions add a sliding ring that makes retrieval easier if the anchor snags. To release the anchor, back the boat directly over it. This product line suits recreational boaters who want reliable holding power and protection for their boat's finish.
