PSS Shaft Seal Dripless for Packing Boxes, Shaft Seals & Accessories

The PSS Shaft Seal is a dripless marine shaft seal that replaces a traditional stuffing box and packing gland on propeller shafts. It is made by PYI Inc. It is a maintenance-free alternative to packing, and it helps keep the bilge dry.

Key Features:

• Dripless operation: a rotating carbon/graphite face rides against a stainless steel rotor to seal water out without the constant drip of packing.
• Flexible bellows design: a bellows allows for shaft movement, vibration and minor misalignment.
• No packing adjustments: there is no packing to adjust, tighten or replace, which cuts routine maintenance.
• Reduced shaft wear: the seal does not grip the shaft the way compressed packing does, so it helps prevent shaft scoring.
• Bilge-friendly: it helps keep the bilge cleaner and drier.
• Marine-grade construction: corrosion-resistant materials are used for durability in a marine environment.

Available in a range of configurations to suit different shaft applications. Choose the option that matches your shaft requirements for dependable, low-maintenance performance.
