Teleflex SeaStar Solutions TFXtreme Control Cable Assembly

The Teleflex SeaStar Solutions TFXtreme control cable assembly is a high-performance marine throttle and shift cable. It is built for smooth, low-effort operation with very little lost motion. It suits inboard, sterndrive (I/O) and outboard installations, and it works as an engine control cable on throttle or transmission/shift applications.

Key Features:

• Splined-core construction: Ridges on the core reduce contact with the inner liner. This means less friction and drag, and the core glides more smoothly than in conventional cables.
• Minimal freeplay and binding: Tighter internal tolerances reduce play inside the casing. Control response is more precise.
• Tighter bend radius: TFXtreme cables have a smaller minimum bend radius than standard cables. This helps with complex routing and long cable runs.
• Durable marine-grade build: Stainless steel and brass fittings are used where noted for the series. The jacket is designed to resist abrasion, UV, salt water, chemicals, gasoline and oil.
• Less wear: Smoother operation reduces drag on the control and wear on the cable.
• Multiple series and configurations: The line includes universal clamp-style cables and OEM-style replacement cables for popular engine and control brands.

Whether you are replacing a worn cable or upgrading for smoother shifting and throttle control, TFXtreme cables from SeaStar Solutions (Teleflex) give reliable, precise control for recreational and commercial boats.
