Solas Aluminum Propeller for Mercury Outboards Propellers

The Solas aluminum propeller line for Mercury outboards gives boaters a durable, affordable replacement prop. It suits a wide range of Mercury and Mariner outboard applications. Solas aluminum propellers are a popular choice for runabouts, fishing boats, pontoons and general recreational boating. They are available in 3-blade and 4-blade designs.

Key Features:

• Squeeze-cast aluminum construction: Solas uses a squeeze casting process to produce strong, consistent aluminum propellers.
• Multi-layer corrosion protection: Each propeller has 4 layers of paint, which helps it resist corrosion in salt water and fresh water.
• Salt spray tested: The coatings go through more than 500 hours of testing in a salt water spray tank. Solas says this simulates over 6 months of normal salt water use.
• Wide-blade designs: The wide blades are intended to give strong acceleration and good performance at higher speeds. Solas describes the performance as close to that of a stainless steel prop.
• Through-hub exhaust: This design is common in the Mercury-compatible models.
• Replaceable rubber hub bushing: The bushing helps absorb shock and protect the drivetrain.

Solas aluminum propellers are made for Mercury outboards across many horsepower ranges. Choose the diameter, pitch, blade count and spline count that match your engine and your boat's performance needs. A properly matched propeller helps the engine run in its recommended RPM range. Some models may need a separate prop installation hardware kit.
