Sea-Dog Line Quarter-Turn Deck Plate with Internal Collar

The Sea-Dog Line Quarter-Turn Deck Plate with Internal Collar is a marine deck plate (also called an inspection port, access hatch or deck access plate). It gives you quick access to storage and inspection areas on boats. The plate is injection molded from UV-stabilized ABS, so it holds up to sun and the marine environment.

Key Features:

• Quarter-turn locking system that helps prevent over-tightening, jamming and cross-threading
• Internal, molded-in collar on the underside that holds deck plate bags or other round containers
• UV-stabilized, injection-molded ABS construction for durability
• Mounts with #8 flat-head fasteners (not included)

Installation and Care:

• Apply silicone sealant to the hull or deck surface when installing.
• Keep the threads clean with hot, soapy water.
• Lubricate the threads with Vaseline or Teflon grease.
• Avoid contact with acetone and strong solvents.

Sea-Dog Line is a well-known supplier of marine hardware. This deck plate is a practical way to add watertight access and organized storage to a boat.
