Wichard Captive Pin Bow Shackle Grade Stainless Steel Shackles

Wichard captive pin bow shackles are forged from 316L stainless steel. They are made for rigging, sailing, and industrial connection points where corrosion resistance and a secure connection matter. The pin stays attached to the shackle body at all times, even when fully open. This makes the shackle easy to use with one hand and removes the risk of dropping the pin overboard.

Key Features:

• Captive pin design: the pin stays connected to the body when opened, so it can't be dropped or lost
• Self-locking pin: the pin locks into one of the indentations, so vibration won't work it loose
• Forged 316L stainless steel: the forging process gives strong working and breaking loads, plus good fatigue and corrosion resistance
• Bow shackle shape: the wider body gives extra room to attach several lines or cables
• One-handed operation: useful when you need to work quickly or safely aloft or on deck
• Marine-ready: suited to aggressive environments, including saltwater, industrial, and acidic atmospheres
• French-made quality: designed and manufactured in France by Wichard

Use these stainless bow shackles to connect two components, such as lines, sails, blocks, and fittings, on sailboats and powerboats. They also work for general rigging and industrial connections. Check the working load limit and markings for the size you choose. Wichard's captive pin bow shackle line gives you a corrosion-resistant, secure connection that is simple to open and close.
