Samlex Battery Charger with Temperature Sensor

The Samlex battery charger with temperature sensor is a fully automatic, three-stage, 24 volt charger for lead-acid batteries. It handles flooded, AGM and gel cell types. It runs from a 120 V 60 Hz or 230 V 50 Hz AC source. The charger suits marine, RV, off-grid and backup power installations. You can also use it as a DC power supply.

Key Features:

• Included battery temperature sensor helps prevent undercharging and overcharging when battery temperature varies widely
• Two-bank charging lets you charge up to 2 separate battery banks at once, with no isolator needed
• Automatic 3-stage charging gives rapid, safe charging. A DIP switch lets you select 2-stage or 3-stage operation
• The 2-stage setting lets the charger work as a DC UPS when used with a battery
• Switch-mode technology gives high efficiency, light weight and quiet operation
• Half Power Mode cuts maximum charge current to half the rated capacity, so lower-capacity batteries can be charged safely
• Built-in voltmeter and ammeter let you monitor the charge
• Output-based fan cooling runs the fan according to output current
• Built-in protections cover short circuit, overload, reverse battery connection and over temperature
• An optional 900-RC remote panel is available for remote on/off control and charge status indication

These chargers are listed to UL 1564 and are EMI compliant to FCC Part 15(B) Class B. They are backed by a 2-year limited warranty from Samlex America.
