Teleflex TFXtreme Marine Control Cable Assembly

The Teleflex TFXtreme Marine Control Cable Assembly is a high-performance throttle and shift control cable for boats. It is built for demanding marine use, including long or complex cable runs where smooth operation matters. Its splined-core design gives a lighter, more precise feel at the helm than a standard control cable.

Key Features:

• Splined-core design: Ridges on the core keep contact with the inner liner to a minimum. The core glides smoothly, with easy movement and minimal lost motion.
• Layered construction: A 1x13 wire core gives strength and flexibility under heavy loads. A nylon core coating and a long-wearing HDPE liner, lubricated for life, support smooth action and long service life.
• Corrosion-resistant hardware: Stainless steel and brass fittings hold up in marine environments.
• Tight routing: The 4-inch minimum bend radius suits cramped installations and complex cable paths.
• Direct replacement: It is designed to replace the original cable and reuse the existing connection components.
• Travel: Nominal 3-inch travel.

Whether you are replacing a worn control cable or upgrading for better control feel, the TFXtreme series reduces control drag and gives consistent throttle and shift response. It is also known as a TFXtreme control cable, engine control cable, or throttle/shift cable.
