3M Premium Marine Filler

3M Premium Marine Filler is a two-component vinyl ester body filler and fairing compound for marine repair. Use it to fill and fair fiberglass hulls, decks and other boat surfaces, both above and below the waterline. It is made with 3M Scotchlite Glass Bubbles, so it sands easily. It is a good choice for boat owners and professional repair shops who want a smooth, paint-ready finish.

Key Features:

• Vinyl ester formula: resists water absorption better than typical polyester fillers, so it performs below the waterline
• Easy to sand: Scotchlite Glass Bubbles give a smooth surface after curing
• Easy spreading: handles well and is simple to apply
• Fast curing: about 10 minutes of working time, and it can be sanded in about 30 minutes
• Blue creme hardener: a visual cue for mixing
• Finish-ready: once cured and sanded, it can be painted or gel coated

Typical Uses:

• Filling scratches, cracks and gouges
• Cosmetic filling and fairing
• Repairing blister damage and keel or rudder damage (cosmetic, non-structural repairs)
• Repairs on fiberglass, wood, aluminum and steel

Use it in a well-ventilated area at temperatures above 60°F. Use only the hardener supplied with the product. 3M advises against mixing in other brands of hardener, because failures can occur.
