Attwood Marine Ni-Slide Gas Spring

The Attwood Marine Ni-Slide Gas Spring line (also called a gas strut, lift support or hatch lift) gives smooth, controlled lifting support for marine hatches, storage compartments, lockers and access doors. Ni-Slide is Attwood's value-oriented gas spring series, built to hold heavy lids open and to make opening and closing easier.

Key Features:

• Designed for marine hatches, compartments and access doors
• Filled with biodegradable, no-hazard-to-water grade (WGK) oil, which Attwood describes as the most environmentally friendly in the marine industry
• Tested to ASTM B117 salt spray and a 30,000-cycle lifecycle test
• Corrosion-resistant construction for harsh marine environments
• Available in a range of output forces, lengths and end fittings to suit different applications

Attwood gas springs are also used in industrial, agricultural and other applications. Choose the variant whose force, extended and compressed length, and end fittings match your application.

Disposal note: Gas springs are pressurized and oil-filled. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to drain the oil before recycling, rather than discarding the spring.
