Moeller Below Deck Fuel Tank Marine

The Moeller Below Deck Fuel Tank line is made for permanent installation below deck in boats. These marine fuel tanks, also called permanent boat fuel tanks, can be used with gasoline or diesel. Diesel use requires an appropriate fuel return sender.

Key Features:

• Cross-linked polyethylene construction: The tanks are rotationally molded in one seamless piece. The material resists corrosion and pitting, unlike aluminum tanks, and allows more complex tank shapes.
• Molded-in fittings: The fill spout, withdraw and vent fittings are molded directly into the tank shell.
• Swivel withdraw fitting: The machined aluminum 3/8" withdraw fitting rotates 360 degrees, which makes hook-up easier.
• Molded hold-down grooves: The grooves in the shell help secure the tank in rough conditions.
• Low-permeation design: The non-permeable construction keeps fuel fumes out of the boat interior.
• Fuel level sender: The tanks use an electrical sending unit that works with industry-standard dash-mounted gauges.
• Regulatory compliance: The tanks conform to ABYC, NMMA and U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
• Operating temperature range: The tanks can be used in ambient temperatures from -40°F to 176°F.

For diesel or any system that needs a fuel return, replace the sender with one that has a return fitting. Install the tank so it is fully supported, and follow all applicable ABYC, NMMA and USCG recommendations. Moeller tanks are made in the USA and come with a one-year warranty.
