Shields Hose Exoflex Marine Water/Exhaust

Shields Hose Exoflex is a corrugated marine water and exhaust hose. It is used for wet exhaust connections, engine water intakes and other raw-water plumbing on boats. Its flexible corrugated design suits runs with significant bends or tight routing, where a smooth-wall hose could kink.

Key Features:

• Black EPDM corrugated cover that resists heat, saltwater, ozone and abrasion
• Synthetic ply construction with steel wire helix reinforcement to help prevent collapse
• Tight corrugations allow flexibility and give more options for clamp placement
• Meets SAE J2006 Type R2 requirements
• Lloyd's approved
• Rated for continuous service from -22°F to 212°F, with intermittent peaks to 239°F
• Bend radius of about 1.5 times the hose inside diameter

Typical Applications:

• Wet exhaust connections with significant bends
• Engine water intake lines
• Scupper lines

Exoflex gives boat owners and marine technicians a durable, flexible hose for cooling water and exhaust gas routing in pleasure-boat and engine installations.
