Seahawk Paints Talon Antifouling Paint

Seahawk Paints Talon is a copper-based, semi-hard hybrid ablative antifouling bottom paint. It is made to fight marine fouling in both fresh and salt water. Talon is a value-priced option for boaters who want durable boat bottom paint protection below the waterline.

Key Features:

• Semi-hard hybrid ablative formula. It is durable enough for a wide range of vessels, and its slow-wearing ablative action helps limit paint buildup from year to year.
• Contains 33.6% cuprous oxide, a high-grade copper biocide, to deter all types of marine fouling.
• Consistent viscosity for good flow and easy rolling.
• Can be applied over most antifouling coatings, including other modified epoxy antifouling paints. Check compatibility before application.
• Semi-gloss finish.
• Suitable for fiberglass, wood and steel hulls, and for fresh or salt water use.
• Applies by brush, solvent-resistant roller or spray.

Application Notes: Talon is for use below the waterline only. It contains copper and must not be applied to bare aluminum. Aluminum hulls require a proper barrier coat system. Apply when air and surface temperatures are above 50°F (10°C). Surfaces must be clean and dry before painting. Talon is intended for single-season use and works best on boats that are used regularly.
