Soundown Mylar Scrim Seam Tape

Soundown Mylar Scrim Seam Tape is a self-adhering mylar seam tape. It finishes sound barrier and insulation installations, and it works as edge tape or seam tape. The pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing lets you apply it by hand.

Key Features:

• Pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for easy peel-and-stick application
• Mylar scrim construction
• Textured surface that matches the finish of Soundown faced sound barrier products, so the installation looks clean and professional
• Seals exposed edges and butt seams of Soundown insulation products against moisture
• Sold by the roll in a choice of widths

For best results, tape all exposed edges from front to back and tape any butt seams. This gives the installation a clean, long-lasting finish. It suits marine, RV, automotive and other sound-control projects.
