Solas YF Series Stainless Steel Propeller

The Solas YF Series Stainless Steel Propeller is a high-performance outboard boat prop (also called a marine propeller or stainless prop). It is built for boaters who want fast acceleration, efficient cruising and the lasting strength of stainless steel. The YF Series was introduced by Solas in 2024.

Key Features:

• Stainless steel construction: Solas stainless props use an alloy with a high content of chromium, nickel and molybdenum. This resists saltwater corrosion and adds blade stability.
• Investment-cast blades: Solas stainless propellers are made by investment casting, which gives precise, consistent blade shapes.
• Aggressive rake and extra cup: The blade design is aimed at quick acceleration and strong, confident grip.
• Thru-hub exhaust: Engine exhaust flows out through the hub.
• Fuel efficiency: The design aims for good efficiency across the operating range.
• Precision engineering: Solas develops its propellers with CAD, CAM and CAE tools, plus prototype testing and field trials.

Solas has built propellers for outboard and stern drive engines for decades. The YF Series gives boaters a durable stainless upgrade over standard props, with the performance and corrosion resistance needed for saltwater use.
