Solas Rubex Pro L4 Stainless Steel Propeller

The Solas Rubex Pro L4 stainless steel propeller is a 4-blade performance boat prop (outboard and stern drive propeller) built for larger, higher-horsepower boats. It is the Pro Series version of the Rubex L4. It adds a more aggressive camber and cupping design, a longer barrel, and the Solas Adjustable Vent (SAV) system. These changes help with acceleration, stability and top-end speed.

Key Features:

• Four-blade stainless steel construction with a large diameter and blade area for big boat loads
• More aggressive camber and cupping for strong hole shot and stern lift
• Longer barrel helps reduce drag and cavitation by letting air and water flow freely behind the prop
• Solas Adjustable Vent (SAV) system can be set to help reduce planing time
• Pro Series lab-finished blades with extra polishing and blade thinning to cut through the water and add top speed
• Interchangeable rubber hub design (RBX hub kit sold separately)
• Designed mainly for higher-horsepower engines, 200 HP and up

Materials and Quality: Solas stainless steel propellers are made by investment casting. The alloy has a high percentage of chromium, nickel and molybdenum, which resists rust from salt water and helps keep the blades stable. Pro Series propellers are blue-printed and go through a 40-point inspection. The inspection checks balance, cupping match across every blade and blade thickness.

This propeller suits offshore and performance applications such as cruisers, large center consoles, runabouts and bass boats. It gives strong mid-range power, good fuel economy and smooth high-speed performance.
