Dorsett Carpet B50ASSY 50A Stainless Steel Shore Power Inlet & Female Connector

The Dorsett Carpet B50ASSY is a 50 amp shore power inlet and female connector combo for boat and RV applications. It pairs a stainless steel power inlet with a 50A female cord connector (also called a plug or cord end). The set is designed to give a secure, weather-resistant shore power connection and to reduce the overheating that can happen with worn twist-lock connections.

Key Features:

• 50 amp rating: can be used for 125V or 250V service
• Stainless steel inlet: corrosion-resistant construction for boatside or RV-side mounting
• Cooler operation: larger pin and clip surface area improves conductivity at high amperage
• No-twist push-in design: the plug body goes in only one way, even in low light
• Multi-point locking system: side clips and the inlet cover hold the plug in place and keep cord movement from stressing the electrical components
• Weather-resistant seals: multi-fin silicone gaskets in the inlet cover and plug body help keep moisture out
• Retrofit-friendly: the inlet mounting flange holes match those of twist-type inlets, which simplifies replacing an existing inlet

The connector is designed to be used with your existing cord. This makes the kit a practical upgrade for anyone replacing an old 50 amp shore power inlet and connector.
