Product Details

The Dorsett Carpet BM30PB is a 30 amp, 125 volt non-metallic shore power inlet (boat-side male inlet) with a black cover assembly. It is also called a power inlet or marine/RV shore power receptacle. It uses a push-in, no-twist design to replace older twist-type inlets. The design increases electrical contact area, which helps reduce the overheating seen with twist-lock connectors.

Key Features:

  • 30A / 125V rating with a 30-amp male inlet connector
  • Non-metallic black housing made from flame-resistant, high-performance material
  • No-twist, push-in design with a single plug-in orientation, so it connects correctly even in the dark
  • Multi-point locking system: side clips hold the plug securely and keep cord movement from stressing the pins
  • Weatherproof seals: multi-fin silicone gaskets in the inlet cover and plug body help keep moisture out
  • Easy retrofit: mounting flange holes match twist-type inlets, and installation typically takes about 30 minutes
  • Black cover assembly included with the inlet

This inlet suits marine and RV shore power connections. It gives a secure, weather-resistant connection and is easy to install as a replacement for an existing twist-type inlet.

Good

The ordering process with simple and smooth.

Navigating the website was easy. I was able to find what I'm looking for quickly. That's a huge plus in my book.

Good

Fast

Your online system would not allow me to put my Alaska address for billing, even though the order was to be shipped to Texas. I sent repeated emails requesting a phone call and no one would call me or provide me a number to call.
