Dorsett Carpet BM50PW 50 Amp 125/250V Non-Metallic Shore Power Inlet White Cover

The Dorsett Carpet BM50PW is a 50 amp, 125V/250V non-metallic shore power inlet with a white cover assembly. It is made for RV and marine use. It works with 3-wire (125V) or 4-wire (250V) systems in a single inlet. It is also sold as a power inlet box or shore power plug receptacle for campers, trailers, and boats.

Key Features:

• Cooler operation: The pins and clips have more contact surface area. This improves electrical conductivity under high amperage demand and reduces the overheating seen with twist-type connectors.
• Push-in design: No twisting is needed. The plug body shape lets it go in only one way, even in the dark.
• Multi-point locking: Side clips lock the plug into the inlet. This relieves strain on the pins when the power cord moves.
• Weather-resistant seals: Multi-fin silicone gaskets in the inlet cover and plug body help keep moisture out.
• Non-metallic construction: The housing is a high-performance, flame-resistant material in white.
• Easy retrofit: The mounting flange holes match those of twist-type inlets. Installation is typically about 30 minutes.

This inlet and cover assembly suits owners replacing an older twist-type 50 amp inlet who want a more durable connection.
