The WirthCo Battery Doctor Remote Battery Disconnect Switch is an in-line, surface mountable switch perfect for installations where you have little battery box space. This in-line disconnect mounts under the hood or other location, providing a convenient solution for disconnecting battery power without removing the battery itself.

Installation and Use:

Run a new cable to the switch, and connect the battery cable to the post on the switch. For permanent installation where disconnection of battery power is desired near the operator, or hidden as a theft deterrent. This switch provides an effective way to prevent parasitic battery drain during storage, eliminate unauthorized vehicle use, and extend battery life.

So I have an old car. It's and 83, seven years older than me. I'm also a student so I don't have much money and need to make as many repairs myself to save money. I go out to the local pep boys and auto zone to to try to find a repair manual that is for my old model but it's not available. I check online and there are very few copies on line.
