The ARP 154-7902 is a heavy-duty oil pump driveshaft designed to prevent catastrophic engine failure caused by stock driveshaft breakage. Engineered to handle high-performance applications, this premium shaft provides the reliability needed for increased capacity oil pumps and heavy viscosity lubricants.

Construction Details:

ARP oil pump driveshafts are manufactured using premium grade materials with advanced heat-treating processes. Chevy applications utilize 8740 alloy steel heat-treated to 190,000 psi, featuring a unique roll-formed alignment sleeve that floats to accommodate slight misalignment without welding or pinning. Ford applications are made from ARP2000 material heat-treated to 220,000 psi, with CNC-milled hex ends and pre-installed retaining washers.

Important Installation Note: Always verify proper clearances between the shaft and engine block, as well as between the oil pump and distributor before installation.
