Lumitec Spreader & Mast Lights

Lumitec Spreader & Mast Lights: Illuminating the Deck from Above

When it comes to lighting the deck of a sailboat or powerboat from aloft, few names carry the weight that Lumitec does. Founded in 2007, Lumitec has become a trusted name in the marine LED lighting industry, headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida, and known for its innovation, quality, and dedication to designing high-performance lighting solutions tailored specifically for boats. Within the world of spreader and mast lights, Lumitec has built a reputation that is hard to match.

Purpose-Built for the Harshest Marine Environments

Designed with durable aluminum housings and completely water sealed, Lumitec spreader lights yield thousands of hours of superior output in any conditions. Whether you are rigging a sailing vessel or fitting out a powerboat tower or flybridge, these fixtures are built to endure relentless exposure to saltwater spray, UV rays, and vibration without compromise. Lumitec spreader lights have been rigorously tested for shock and vibration, water ingress, impact, weatherability, electromagnetic radiation and susceptibility, and overall durability.

Key Product Lines: Capri, Caprera, and Zephyr

Lumitec is firmly established as the market leader in marine LED lighting, with its Capri and Caprera spreader lights setting the benchmark as top-of-class leaders. The Capri3 series offers multiple output configurations — including white non-dimming, white dimming, white/blue dual-color, and the full Spectrum color-changing mode — available in both white and black housings to match virtually any vessel aesthetic.

For boaters who prioritize versatility in mounting position, the Zephyr series stands out. The Zephyr LED Swivel Spreader is an innovation from Lumitec, offering a fully positionable swivel for incredible versatility — up, down, or any direction you need. Perfect for spreaders, spars, towers, and flybridges, the cool white LED puts out an incredible 1,000 lumens, enough to light up an area of nearly 24 feet when mounted 16 feet high. The entire fixture is dimmable using a third-party dimmer, and with its 2" diameter and choice of white or black base, this palm-sized fixture fits just about anywhere.

The CapreraLT is another standout in the lineup. With more than 1,000 integrating sphere tested lumens, the CapreraLT builds on the Caprera legacy to reaffirm market leadership, delivering exceptional reliability and class-leading performance.

Smart Control & Compatibility

Lumitec's spreader lights are notable not just for raw output but also for thoughtful control options. The inventive Timed Toggle Protocol (TTP) found in Capri spreaders and the intuitive 2-wire Spectrum color-changing system give boaters flexible, installation-friendly ways to manage their deck lighting without complex wiring. Lumitec also leads the industry in lumen output per unit of current consumption, meaning less draw on your battery and more lights per circuit.

Backed by a Best-in-Class Warranty

Lumitec offers a 5-year warranty on all its products, covering defects in manufacturing, workmanship, and materials — a strong testament to the confidence they place in every fixture that leaves their facility. For sailors and powerboaters alike, investing in Lumitec spreader and mast lights means investing in reliable, long-lasting deck illumination that won't let you down offshore or at anchor.
