Sea-Dog Line Bilge Pump Switches & Alarms
Sea-Dog Line Bilge Pump Switches & Alarms: Trusted Protection Below the Waterline
When it comes to keeping water out of your bilge — or at least knowing when it's gotten in — few names carry the pedigree of Sea-Dog Line. Since 1903, Sea-Dog Line has been providing quality-built, affordable hardware for boats for over 100 years. That century-plus of marine experience shows in every detail of their bilge pump switch and alarm products, which are engineered to deliver reliable safety monitoring in the punishing conditions of the marine environment.
All-in-One Bilge Monitoring
Sea-Dog Line's approach to bilge pump switches & alarms centers on consolidating critical safety functions into a single, easy-to-mount panel. The Bilge Pump Water Alarm Panel with Switch provides both an audible and visual means of warning that the water level in your bilge is above your bilge pump float switch level, with no need for a separate bilge pump switch, as the control switch selects between automatic and manual operation. This integrated design simplifies wiring and reduces the number of components that need to be installed and maintained on board.
The Sea-Dog 423040 Bilge Pump Switch Panel is injection molded ABS for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. It comes with a three-way switch for auto/manual modes and is equipped with a 20-amp circuit breaker. For boaters who need alarm-only monitoring without a combined switch, Sea-Dog also offers dedicated alarm panels. The bilge water alarm panel provides both an audible and visual warning that the water level in your bilge is above your bilge pump float switch level — an additional float switch must be installed to activate the alarm — and the unit is constructed of injection molded ABS.
Dual-Mode Control for Every Situation
One of the standout features of Sea-Dog's bilge switch panels is their flexibility. They provide an audible and visual means of warning if the water level in your bilge is beyond your bilge pump float switch level, with the control switch selecting between automatic and manual (momentary on) function of the bilge pump — rated at 15 amps. Whether you're running your pump automatically via a float switch or need to kick it on manually to handle a specific situation, a single Sea-Dog panel gives you both options without adding complexity to your helm or electrical panel.
A Legacy of Marine Hardware Expertise
With more than a century of boating-industry experience, Sea-Dog designs durable gear for recreational and commercial boaters, and the company also has an ABYC-certified marine technician on staff to support technical and installation questions. Sea-Dog stocks more than 8 million parts in their 75,000 square foot warehouse in Washington state, meaning components and compatible accessories are readily available. For boaters who take bilge safety seriously, Sea-Dog Line's panels represent a practical, time-tested solution built by people who understand what it means to work on the water.
