Sea-Dog Line Masthead/All-Around Lights with Removable & Telescoping Bases

Sea-Dog Line LED Removable Telescopic All-Around Lights

When it comes to keeping your vessel visible and compliant on the water, few solutions combine practicality and durability as neatly as Sea-Dog Line’s LED Removable Telescopic All-Around Lights. Engineered specifically for boaters who need a reliable masthead or all-around navigation light that can be stowed when not in use, these fixtures are a go-to choice among recreational and working mariners alike.

What Makes Sea-Dog’s Telescoping Design Stand Out

The standout feature of Sea-Dog Line’s offering in this category is its telescoping pole system. The base telescopes to extend the light’s reach, and it is available in two size ranges: 24”–48” and 34”–60” — giving boaters flexibility to position the light at the optimal height for their vessel. This removable design means the light can be quickly detached and stowed below deck when entering a marina or when clearance is a concern, dramatically reducing the risk of damage.

Construction & Compliance

Sea-Dog doesn’t cut corners on materials or certifications. These LED Removable Telescopic 360° All-Around Lights are approved for USCG 2NM (Colreg 2 mile) and are constructed of injection molded nylon and aluminum — a combination that resists corrosion and holds up to the UV exposure and salt spray that define life on the water. The lights also carry CE, IP66, and ABYC C-5/A-16 compliance ratings, ensuring they meet international and domestic standards for recreational vessels.

Running on 12VDC with a low amp draw, Sea-Dog’s LED telescoping lights are easy on your boat’s electrical system — an important consideration for smaller vessels where battery capacity is at a premium. Installation requires just three #8 FH fasteners (not included), making it a straightforward DIY project for most boaters.
