This 2-prong electrode serves a dual function: it generates the spark needed to ignite the propane burner and acts as a flame sensor to confirm successful ignition, helping the water heater operate safely and efficiently.

When the original electrode becomes worn or faulty — causing hard starts, ignition failures, or a water heater that won't stay lit — this direct-fit OEM replacement restores reliable hot water performance. The assembly comes fully pre-assembled with a mounting bracket and insulated female terminal connector, requiring only a 1/4-inch wrench or socket for installation.

Shipping took longer than expected as I paid for expedited shipping. I reached out to ask why it wasn't sent two day and got no reply. The customer service could really use improvement and this is reflected in multiple reviews. However, the products arrived safely and as described. I'm very satisfied with the pricing as well. At the end of the day, that's the most important thing.

Lovely experience would definitely buy again

I never received anything about shipping so I contacted customer support. They said it was a direct shipment and they would check on it for me and get back to me. I never heard back from them. Shortly after that I did receive a message from the carrier saying they have my shipment and scheduled a delivery. They said they would call me 30 mins before the delivery so I could get off work and come to inspect it before signing for it. That didnt' happen either my wife called me first thing in the morning and say they are here delivering it now so I had to run home so I could inspect it. The driver was really nice and waited for me to get there.
