Product Details

The Camp Zinc 8515850 is a replacement pencil zinc anode designed specifically for GM and Detroit Diesel marine engines. This zinc-only replacement element provides essential corrosion protection for your engine's cooling system by serving as a sacrificial anode that corrodes in place of more expensive engine components.

Key Specifications:

  • Zinc anode diameter: 3/4 inch
  • Overall zinc length: 3-3/8 inches
  • Thread size (male end): 5/8-11
  • Zinc element only - brass plug not included
  • Meets U.S. Mil-Spec quality standards

This is the zinc element only and does not include the brass end plug. Zinc anodes should be inspected regularly and replaced when 2/3 of the zinc has eroded or at least once per season to maintain optimal engine protection. Cross-references include OEM numbers 8506471, 3108093, and military specification 5342-00-363-8200.

Hi - I just want to say what a great job your customer service person - Rob Fratu did for me. I purchased a set of Mickey Thompson Indy tires thru Autoplicity's internet site. To my misfortune; the tires were out-of date (manuf. in 2005)when they were shipped from the warehouse. One of the tires immediately began to split around the outerside wall once it was mounted.
