The Faria Instruments 12801 Euro Black fuel level gauge combines elegant European styling with reliable fuel monitoring for marine applications. This 2-inch gauge features a perimeter-lighted black dial with bold white graphics, housed in a sleek black aluminum bezel with a flat glass lens and contoured white pointer for excellent visibility in all lighting conditions.

How It Works:

This fuel level gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. As fuel levels change, the sender's resistance varies, allowing different amounts of current to flow through to ground. The meter deflects proportionally, accurately displaying fuel levels from Empty to 1/2 to Full.
