How It Works:

This temperature gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. As the sender's resistance changes with temperature variations, the amount of current flowing to ground changes accordingly, causing the meter to deflect and display the current temperature reading.
