Faria Instruments 13702 Chesapeake Black SS 2" Oil Pressure Gauge 80 PSI

The Faria Chesapeake Black series 2-inch oil pressure gauge combines classic styling with modern functionality for marine applications. This gauge features a perimeter-lighted black dial with crisp blue and white graphics, surrounded by a polished stainless steel bezel that resists corrosion in harsh marine environments.

How It Works:

This analog gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. As oil pressure changes, the sender's resistance varies, controlling the current flow and causing the contoured white pointer to deflect across the dual-scale display, providing accurate pressure readings up to 80 PSI.

Key Features:

• Perimeter-lighted black dial for excellent nighttime visibility
• Polished stainless steel bezel resists marine corrosion
• Domed anti-scratch glass lens protects gauge face
• Dual scale display shows both metric and imperial units
• Contoured white pointer for easy reading
• 12 VDC negative ground electrical system (adaptable for 24 VDC)
• Standard 2-inch diameter fits 2.0625-inch (53mm) mounting hole

This individual gauge requires a compatible oil pressure sending unit (sold separately) and is designed for professional marine instrument panels. Gauge cover not included. Factory part number GP9640.
