Product Details

The Faria Chesapeake SS Oil Pressure Gauge combines classic styling with modern functionality for marine applications. This 2-inch analog gauge features a perimeter-lighted white dial with distinctive blue and white graphics, a polished stainless steel bezel, contoured white pointer, and domed anti-scratch glass lens.

  • Perimeter backlighting for excellent nighttime visibility
  • Polished stainless steel bezel resists corrosion in marine environments
  • Anti-scratch domed glass lens for durability
  • 2" diameter gauge with 2.0625" (53mm) mounting hole requirement
  • 12 VDC negative ground electrical system (adaptable for 24 VDC)

How It Works:

This pressure gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. As oil pressure changes, the sender's resistance varies, controlling the current flow and causing the meter to deflect and display the pressure reading accurately.

Installation Notes:

Requires a compatible oil pressure sending unit (sold separately). The gauge mounts in a standard 2.0625" instrument panel hole. Gauge cover not included.
