The Faria Instruments Dress White 4" Tachometer is designed for gasoline-powered inboard and sterndrive (I/O) engines with a maximum reading of 6000 RPM. This analog gauge features a perimeter-lighted white dial with bold black graphics, a white aluminum bezel, a contoured black pointer, and a flat anti-scratch glass lens for durability and easy visibility in marine environments.

Electronic Tachometer Technology:

This electronic tachometer operates by counting pulses generated by your engine's ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. The unit connects to a 12V DC power source, ground, and one of the available signal sources. An adjustable switch on the back of the gauge allows you to calibrate the tachometer to match the number of pulses sent per engine revolution, ensuring accurate RPM readings for your specific engine configuration.
