Faria Instruments 39009 Kronos 4-Inch Marine Speedometer 60 MPH Mechanical Pitot

The Faria Instruments 39009 Kronos Series 4" Speedometer delivers accurate mechanical boat speed readings up to 60 MPH with premium style and rugged reliability. Designed for marine dash panel installation, this pitot-tube-type speedometer converts water pressure into a precise speed reading through a bourdon tube movement mechanism inside the gauge head.

Part of Faria's popular Kronos series, the 39009 features a sophisticated beige-toned aesthetic with a perimeter-lighted spun-aluminum dial, gold and black graphics, and embossed gold increments and logo for a distinctive, upscale look on any boat instrument panel. The two-piece Newport-style pointer ensures smooth, accurate needle movement across the full speed range.

How It Works:

This is a pitot-tube type speedometer. Water pressure is forced into the pitot tube (sold separately) and transmitted through flexible tubing to the bourdon tube movement inside the gauge head, where it is converted into a speed reading. No sensors or electronic connections are required.
