Interlux VC Offshore is a multi-season hard vinyl antifouling paint designed specifically for high-performance racing sailboats, powerboats, and offshore fishing vessels. This professional-grade bottom paint is formulated with cuprous oxide biocide and PTFE (Teflon) additives to create an ultra-smooth, low-friction surface that delivers maximum speed and fuel efficiency.

• Slippery PTFE additive creates a smooth, non-fouling, low-friction surface that can be burnished for even greater performance
• 40% solids by volume with substantial cuprous oxide biocide concentration for superior antifouling protection
• Can be applied to fiberglass, lead, steel, wood, and carbon fiber substrates
• Suitable for use in fresh, brackish, and salt water environments
• Teflon formula makes wet sanding and burnishing easier to achieve a shiny, super smooth racing finish
• Practical coverage: 270 sq ft per gallon by brush or roller, 180 sq ft per gallon by spray

Application Details:

• Apply 3 coats minimum; use 4 coats if burnishing or applying to bare wood
• Apply by brush, roller, or conventional pressure pot spray using Special Thinner 216
• After final coat cures, wet sand with 400-grit paper and burnish with fine bronze wool for maximum performance
• Contains aggressive solvents typical of vinyl paints; should not be applied over non-vinyl paints

Important Notes:

• Contains copper; do not use on aluminum hulls or outdrives
• Has a limited out-of-water time of 30 days as the surface reacts with air to seal in biocides
• Not sold for use in California
