Product Details

The JR Race Car GSNI-6642 is a premium gas spring featuring a hardline black nitride-coated shaft designed for superior corrosion resistance and extended service life. This gas spring combines proven SPD reliability with advanced surface treatment technology, making it ideal for demanding racing and high-performance applications.

Key Features:

  • Black nitride coated shaft for exceptional corrosion and wear resistance
  • Strong annealed steel rod construction for maximum durability
  • Enhanced surface hardness protects against environmental exposure
  • Proven SPD gas spring reliability and consistent force delivery
  • Ideal for hood, hatch, and chassis applications in race vehicles

The nitride coating process creates an ultra-hard surface layer that significantly outperforms traditional chrome or zinc plating, especially in harsh environments where moisture, chemicals, and temperature extremes are present. This makes the GSNI-6642 an excellent choice for race cars, off-road vehicles, and marine applications where corrosion resistance is critical.

great so far , happy to have found what I was looking for

easy to use site. i'll be purchasing with you in the future.

The ordering process was easy and the price of the product was fair. I was; however, disappointed with one thing. I received an email from Autoplicity for 25% off shipping but it would not work when I was checking out. I called the customer service number and the gentleman was not helpful at all.

Every time I use autoplicity its always a smooth transaction and great price. Thanks

VERY EASY WITH AMAZON SIGN IN

First time I've ordered from Autoplicity. They had the cheapest price, I found online. Shipping was quick also. <br>Thanks!!!

Quickly received item. Exactly what I ordered and was best price out there. Will do business with them again.

Finding what I wanted and price was all good...but after purchasing the item I was not given an estimate on the delivery date

So far so good

Easy to use website, would use again. Had the hard to find part I needed.
