The Kasco Marine 3400D025 De-Icer is a high-performance water agitator designed to prevent ice formation around boats, docks, piers, and other waterfront property. The powerful 3/4 HP motor creates large amounts of water flow that prevents ice formation and protects property from damages of ice jacking and ice expansion pressure. A single 3400D unit is capable of maintaining an open circle of water up to 75 feet in diameter.

Performance and Benefits:

The de-icer allows oxygen to enter the water in winter, providing improved water quality and habitat and helping avoid devastating winterkill of fish. The unit can be suspended vertically or at an angle using the included mooring ropes, creating either circular or oblong ice-free openings. During summer months, the de-icer can be used to circulate water, improving water quality and helping to eliminate stagnant and dirty water.

Optional mounting accessories including universal dock mounts, industrial mounts, and horizontal floats are available separately. For best performance, position the unit 4-6 feet below the water surface and always keep at least 1 foot above the bottom.
