Keel Guard 27181 SkegGuard Stainless Steel Skeg Protector & Replacement for Force 85-150

The Megaware SkegGuard 27181 is a heavy-duty marine skeg protector and replacement guard engineered to shield your outboard motor's lower unit from the costly damage caused by rocks, submerged debris, and accidental ramp dragging. Constructed from 18-gauge, mirror-polished marine grade 316 stainless steel, it offers long-lasting corrosion resistance and a clean, custom appearance on the water.

This stainless skeg guard serves double duty — it protects an intact skeg from future damage and can also be used to repair or replace an already broken skeg. The unit conforms precisely to the lower unit profile, ensuring no discernible drag or loss of performance.

Key Features:

• 18-Gauge Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel — Mirror-polished finish for lasting shine and superior corrosion resistance
• Reinforced 3mm Lower Wear Tab — Extra-thick lower plate guards the most vulnerable portion of the skeg against ramp dragging, rocks, and submerged debris
• Drain Hole on Bottom — Prevents water from collecting inside, reducing the risk of corrosion and freeze damage
• Installs with as Little as 2–3 Inches of Skeg Remaining — Makes it viable as a broken skeg repair solution, eliminating the need for expensive welding or lower unit replacement
• DIY Installation in Under 10 Minutes — Secured with self-locking hardware using common tools; no special equipment required
• 3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty — Backed by Megaware Keelguard

The SkegGuard 27181 is precision-fitted for Force outboard motors and is a far more cost-effective alternative to professional skeg welding or full lower unit replacement. UPC: 672057271810.
