Megaware KeelGuard 27261 SkegGuard Stainless Steel Skeg Protector for Suzuki Outboards

The Megaware KeelGuard SkegGuard 27261 is a marine-grade stainless steel skeg protector designed to shield your outboard motor's skeg from damage caused by ramp dragging, rocks, submerged debris, and underwater obstacles. It can also serve as a repair solution, covering and replacing an already broken or damaged skeg.

Key Features:

• Constructed from 18-gauge, 316 marine-grade stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance in saltwater and freshwater environments
• Mirror-polished finish for a clean, lasting shine that resists wear
• Reinforced wear tab along the bottom edge provides extra protection in the most vulnerable area of the skeg — ideal for river running and frequent ramp use
• Drain hole on the bottom prevents water accumulation, reducing the risk of corrosion and freezing
• Installs with as little as 2–3 inches of skeg remaining — no need for a fully intact skeg
• DIY installation in under 10 minutes — no special tools required
• Will not compromise motor performance
• Backed by a 3-Year Warranty

The SkegGuard 27261 is compatible with select Suzuki DF-series outboards, including the 50AV–60AV (2014–Present), DF90 4-Stroke (2001–2010), and DF100–115–140 (excluding 100BT, 2001–Present). It also fits Evinrude/Johnson 60, 70, 90, 115, and 140 HP 4-Stroke models from 1999–2003.
