Martyr Anodes CME5 Engine Cooling System Zinc Pencil Anode with Brass Plug

The Martyr Anodes CME5 is a zinc pencil anode designed to protect your marine engine's cooling system from galvanic corrosion. This essential component sacrifices itself to prevent corrosion damage to more expensive engine parts, including heat exchangers, oil coolers, and cooling passages.

Key Features:

• High-quality zinc alloy construction for maximum protection in saltwater and brackish water environments
• Complete assembly includes brass mounting plug for easy installation
• Pencil-style design fits standard engine cooling system ports
• Sacrificial anode prevents costly corrosion damage to engine components
• Direct replacement for worn or depleted anodes

Regular inspection and replacement of sacrificial anodes is critical for maintaining your engine's cooling system. Replace the CME5 anode when it has deteriorated to approximately 50% of its original size to ensure continuous corrosion protection. This simple maintenance item can prevent thousands of dollars in engine repair costs.
