Martyr Anodes CMEZ1F Replacement Zinc Pencil Anode 1/2" x 1-1/4" (Plug Not Included)

The Martyr Anodes CMEZ1F is a replacement zinc pencil anode designed to protect marine engine cooling systems from galvanic corrosion. This sacrificial anode measures 1/2" in diameter by 1-1/4" in length and is engineered to corrode preferentially, safeguarding more expensive metal components in your engine's cooling passages.

Key Features:

• High-purity zinc construction provides superior corrosion protection
• Standard 1/2" diameter fits most marine engine cooling system ports
• Compact 1-1/4" length ideal for tight engine compartment spaces
• Pencil-style design allows for easy inspection and replacement
• Brass plug sold separately for complete installation

This pencil anode is a critical maintenance component for protecting your marine engine's internal cooling passages. Regular inspection and replacement of sacrificial anodes helps prevent costly corrosion damage to engine blocks, heat exchangers, and cooling system components. Martyr Anodes are manufactured to meet or exceed US military alloy specifications, ensuring consistent performance and reliable protection in saltwater and brackish water environments.

Note: This part includes the zinc anode element only. The brass plug must be purchased separately for installation.
