Product Details

The Quicksilver 12612Q2 Flushing Attachment is an OEM Mercury Marine accessory designed to make post-use outboard engine flushing quick and convenient. Engineered specifically for select Mercury and Mariner small outboard engines, this attachment connects directly to a fresh water source and allows the engine to be run at idle speed during flushing—no earmuffs or submersion required.

Regular flushing with fresh water after saltwater, brackish, or polluted water use helps prevent corrosion and buildup in internal cooling passages, extending the life of your outboard engine. This Quicksilver flushing attachment is an easy, effective solution for proper outboard maintenance.

Key Features:

  • Allows flushing while running engine at idle speed for thorough cooling passage cleaning
  • Genuine Quicksilver OEM part — engineered to factory fit and specifications
  • Compatible with Mercury/Mariner 4–15 hp 2-cycle (2-stroke) outboards
  • Compatible with Mercury/Mariner 4/5/6 hp FourStroke outboards
  • Compatible with Mercury/Mariner 8/9.9/15 hp (323cc) outboards with standard gear case
  • Manufacturer Part Number: 12612Q2 | UPC: 745061040298

As a genuine Quicksilver accessory, the 12612Q2 Flushing Attachment is built to the same rigorous standards as Mercury Marine OEM parts, ensuring a reliable fit and long service life.
