Quicksilver 823054 Stop Switch Safety Lanyard Fork Style for Mercury Outboard Engines

The Quicksilver 823054 Stop Switch Lanyard is an OEM-quality engine kill cord designed for engine-mounted stop switches on select Mercury and Mariner small outboard motors. This safety lanyard is an essential piece of boating safety equipment — the engine will not run without the lanyard attached to the stop switch, ensuring the motor shuts off automatically if the operator is separated from the helm.

Key Features:

• Fork-style clip at the engine end for secure engagement with the engine-mounted stop switch
• Stainless steel clip at the operator end for attachment to the driver's wrist, life vest, or clothing
• Bright red/orange coiled, plastic-coated lanyard cord for high visibility and easy identification
• OEM Quicksilver part — produced to meet Mercury Marine's original equipment manufacturer performance specifications
• Also referenced as part number 823054Q

Compatible with Mercury and Mariner 2-stroke outboard engines (2.5 HP, 3.3 HP, 4 HP, and 5 HP) and 4-stroke outboard engines (4 HP, 5 HP, and 6 HP). Always keep the stop switch lanyard attached to the operator while underway.
