The Quicksilver 8M0095447 Block-Off Kit is a genuine OEM Mercury Marine component designed to block the water inlet port on MerCruiser sterndrive engines when converting to or operating with a closed cooling system. This kit is an essential part of a proper closed cooling conversion, sealing off the raw water inlet opening on the engine block to prevent leaks and ensure correct system operation.
Designed for use alongside the MerCruiser Closed Cooling Kit, this block-off kit ensures a clean, reliable seal during installation. It supersedes the previous Mercury part numbers 818304A1 and 818304.
Key Features:
Sold as a complete kit. Always confirm fitment using your engine's serial number before ordering.
