Panther 550405 Static Motor Mount Plate for Auxiliary & Kicker Outboard Motors

The Panther 550405 Static Motor Mount Plate is a heavy-duty fixed mounting solution designed to simplify the installation of auxiliary and kicker outboard motors on boats where direct transom mounting is impractical or impossible. The plate creates a flat, stable mounting surface that accommodates both clamp-on and bolt-on motor configurations, compatible with two- and four-stroke outboards.

Key Features:

• Supports outboard kicker motors rated up to 35 HP or 263 lbs.
• Generously sized 8 in. × 7 in. mounting area for a secure motor footprint
• Constructed from 713 cast aluminum with heavy primer and black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance
• Designed to fit most contoured boat transoms, including pontoon, jon boat, and small fishing boat transoms
• Sets the motor 4 inches higher on the transom, making it ideal for mounting long-shaft motors on short-shaft transoms
• Top lip rests securely on the gunwale; composite spacer block included for a solid, rattle-free connection
• Compatible with both clamp-on and bolt-on motor mounting styles

The Panther 550405 is an excellent solution for jon boats, small fishing boats, and pontoons where transom geometry prevents standard motor mounting. Also sold under part number 55-0405.
