Panther 75-8310 Lower Unit Lock Kit for Mercury Verado/Optimax Single Engine

The Panther 75-8310 is a tamper-resistant lower unit lock kit designed specifically for Mercury Verado (150–300 hp) and Optimax (115–250 hp) single-engine outboard applications. Outboard lower units are a prime target for theft and can be removed in minutes — this security system is engineered to stop that.

The kit replaces your existing lower unit bolts and nuts with specially engineered tamper-resistant hardware. A dedicated tamper-resistant tool (included) is required for both installation and removal, ensuring that standard tools cannot be used to defeat the lock system. Each bolt and nut features a unique pin configuration, making it virtually impossible for even an experienced thief to remove without the proper tool.

Key Features:

• Tamper-resistant nuts and bolts replace existing lower unit hardware
• Unique pin configuration deters professional thieves
• High-strength bell washer prevents use of clamping devices to remove bolt and/or nut
• Constructed of marine-grade stainless steel for superior strength and corrosion resistance
• Requires the included tamper-resistant tool to install and remove
• Designed for single-engine Mercury Verado 150–300 hp and Optimax 115–250 hp outboards
• Also available in dual- and triple-engine configurations (sold separately)

The Panther 75-8310 lower unit lock kit is a straightforward, no-compromise security upgrade for any Mercury Verado or Optimax single-engine boat owner looking to protect their investment.
