The Seachoice 15391 Marine Speedometer Pitot Kit provides a complete solution for installing a pitot tube speedometer system on your boat. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary components for measuring boat speed through water, making it ideal for both new installations and replacement applications.

Complete Installation Kit Includes:

  • Durable, flexible pitot tube designed to pivot up to 90 degrees to prevent damage from impacts with debris or during trailering
  • 20 feet of PVC tubing for routing pressure signal from pitot to speedometer gauge
  • Black plastic clamshell vent for cockpit or console mounting
  • 4 black plastic tube holders for secure tubing routing
  • 6 corrosion-resistant stainless steel self-tapping screws for permanent installation

The pitot tube mounts to the transom or hull below the waterline and measures dynamic water pressure to calculate boat speed. The flexible design allows the pitot to pivot upward upon impact, protecting it from damage when contacting underwater obstacles or during trailering. The 20-foot tubing length provides ample reach for most boat configurations, allowing clean routing from the transom to the helm.

Applications: Compatible with most marine speedometers that use pitot tube pressure measurement systems. Suitable for powerboats, fishing boats, pontoons, and other recreational watercraft.

Paid for UPS 2nd Day service on Wednesday afternoon... called Autoplicity about lack of shipping info on Thursday AM and was told the system takes 24 hrs to update. On Friday tracking put the shipment in the delivery location at 1:30am. UPS customer service advised they could have refunded shipping cost if I had shipped direct.... not sure how or why I would accomplish the task. UPS advised contacting the shipper to resolve the issue.. really? Product sat in the UPS delivery center until Monday AM and was delivered Monday PM. Product was installed in my tractor Monday evening.... now it has rained every day and I can't cut the field. Question is really, why offer 2 day service at a premium when no one does what they promise... Purchased these bearings at Autoplicity because of the 2 day service..... who dropped the ball? Most on-line retailers shipping options change if and when you are outside guidelines. That wasn't the case here.
